Organization and Professional Terms

Effective November 1, 2026 · Last updated October 18, 2026

Rizora.io LLC

These terms apply in addition to our Terms of Service if you use Rizora as, or on behalf of, a high school program, youth program or club, college program (each an "Organization"), or as a trainer or evaluator (each a "Professional"). If these terms conflict with the Terms of Service, these terms control for your organizational or professional use. If an Organization signs a separate order form or agreement with Rizora, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these terms.

Part A: Organizations

A1. Authority and accounts

  • You must be authorized. By creating or using an Organization account, you confirm you are authorized to act for that school, program, or club.
  • Accounts belong to the Organization. Staff accounts are tied to the Organization. When a staff member leaves, their access to that Organization ends and does not move with them to a new school or program.
  • Verification. Rizora verifies the first staff member of each high school and college program (for example, using the school's public staff directory and a school email address). The program's head coach or athletic director then approves additional staff. High school and college staff must use a school email address. We may re-verify staff periodically and each season.
  • Keep your staff list current. Remove staff promptly when they leave or change roles. You are responsible for what your approved staff do on Rizora.

A2. Athletes control their information

  • Athlete information belongs to the athlete. Measurables, clips, workouts, and profiles belong to the athlete and their family, not to the Organization.
  • Access depends on grants. High school and youth programs see a rostered athlete only with a live roster-visibility grant from the athlete's parent or guardian (or the adult athlete). College programs see only athletes who have chosen to share with that program, at the level they chose. When a grant is revoked, your access ends immediately and you must not keep copies. When an athlete revokes access, blocks your program, or closes their account, Rizora deletes your program's private notes and prospect-stage records about that athlete.
  • Under-13 players. For a player under 13, you may keep only the minimal roster entry Rizora allows (first name, last initial, jersey number, position) unless the player's parent has set up a parent-managed profile. By adding such an entry, you confirm your program has a legitimate reason to list the player.
  • Sideline measurables. High school coaches may record measurables for rostered athletes during team testing. Record only numbers you actually measured, under the conditions you report.

A3. How you may use athlete information

You may use information you access through Rizora only to coach, train, manage, or recruit athletes for your own Organization. You may not:

  • use it for any other school, program, club, or business, including a private training or recruiting business you own;
  • download, export, copy, or store athlete information or contact details outside Rizora, except as a Rizora feature expressly allows;
  • share it with third parties, including other coaches, recruiting services, agents, or the media;
  • try to identify an anonymous college athlete or combine Rizora information with outside information to do so; or
  • sell it or use it to build a competing product.

A4. College programs

  • Anonymous college athletes. Current college athletes appear anonymously until they unlock their identity for your program. Rizora does not allow messaging between college programs and currently enrolled college athletes. Unlocking an athlete's identity does not by itself mean contact is permitted; you are responsible for following transfer and contact rules.
  • High school athletes who share with you are identified. When you message a minor, their parent or guardian is copied.
  • Notes and prospect lists you create are private to your program and are never shown to athletes.
  • Compliance is your responsibility. You are responsible for following NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA, and conference rules, including recruiting calendars, contact periods, and transfer rules. Rizora tools don't determine whether contact is permitted.

A5. High school and youth programs

  • Program content. Rosters, practice plans, playbooks, drills, schedules, and notes you create ("Program Content") belong to your Organization. You give Rizora the rights needed to host and display Program Content to the people you share it with and to operate features such as the AI assistant and practice-plan parser.
  • Student records. Rizora is not designed to hold education records such as grades, transcripts, or disciplinary records. Don't upload them. If your school needs Rizora to sign a student-data privacy agreement, contact legal@rizora.io.
  • Pricing. High school and youth program accounts are currently free. We may introduce paid features later and will give advance notice; we won't charge you without your agreement.

A6. Fees for college programs

Paid college program subscriptions are billed yearly by invoice, as described in our Billing and Refund Policy and any order form. Fees are non-refundable except as stated there or required by law. Unpaid invoices more than 30 days past due may result in suspension after notice.

Taxes. Fees don't include taxes. If tax applies, it will appear on the invoice. If your institution is tax-exempt, send us your exemption certificate and we won't charge tax that the certificate covers.

Pilot. The college program pilot that begins November 1, 2026 is free, invite-only, and provided as-is. Either side may end pilot participation at any time. No fees are owed for the pilot, and a paid subscription begins only under a signed order form or accepted invoice.

Part B: Trainers

B1. Verification and safety

  • No open sign-up. Trainers sign in, claim or create a listing, and are approved by Rizora staff after identity verification. Your name and location can be changed only by Rizora staff.
  • Background checks. You must complete and keep current the background check and other checks Rizora requires. Your listing is hidden while any required check is missing, expired, or under review.
  • Credentials and equipment. You confirm that the certifications and testing equipment on your profile are accurate and current.
  • Minors. Every link between you and a minor is visible to the minor's parent or guardian, who can end it at any time. Keep communication with minors professional and within Rizora's protections, as set out in our Community Guidelines. Don't arrange to be alone with a minor without the parent's knowledge.

B2. What you can access

With a live grant from the athlete's parent or guardian (or the adult athlete), you can see that athlete's workout assignments, completions, and Develop measurables, build workout programs for them, and submit measurements. You cannot access recruiting profiles, matches, college program messaging, evaluations other than your own, or clips.

B3. Measurement integrity

  • Submit only measurements you took yourself, in a session, with the equipment you select.
  • Your measurement stays pending until the athlete confirms it. Disputed or voided numbers never count as verified.
  • You may not record body weight for minors. For adults, body weight requires the athlete's confirmation.
  • Rizora flags numbers far outside an athlete's history. Repeated outliers lead to a review of your listing and may lead to suspension.

B4. Independent professional

You are an independent professional, not an employee, agent, or contractor of Rizora. You are solely responsible for the training you provide, its safety, your qualifications, any licenses or insurance your work requires, and your own taxes. Rizora does not supervise your sessions. Booking and marketplace payment terms will be added before those features launch.

Part C: Evaluators

  • Credentials. Evaluators are credentialed and approved by Rizora and must keep their credentials current.
  • Rubric only. Score honestly, using only Rizora's structured rubric and the information provided. Evaluations of current college athletes are blind; don't try to identify the athlete.
  • Conflicts. Don't evaluate an athlete you coach, train, are related to, or have any financial interest in. Tell us about any conflict.
  • Separation from representation. Evaluators must not know or consider whether Rizora or any partner represents an athlete, and must not participate in representation.
  • Names shown to families. Families of high school athletes can see the names of evaluators who evaluated their athlete.
  • Audit. Every evaluation is logged and may be reviewed. We may discard evaluations that don't meet these rules.

Part D: Terms for all Organizations and Professionals

  • Confidentiality. Treat athlete information, and any non-public information about Rizora you receive, as confidential. Rizora likewise keeps your Organization's non-public information, such as Program Content, notes, prospect lists, and pricing, confidential and uses it only to provide the Services.
  • Content you upload. Team film, photos, and rosters often show athletes, many of them minors. You confirm that your Organization has the right to upload them and any permissions your school, league, or state requires from athletes and parents. Rizora may remove content if a parent or athlete objects and the Organization can't confirm it has permission.
  • Security incidents. If a security incident affects your Organization's information, we'll notify your designated administrator without unreasonable delay and cooperate with your reasonable requests, in addition to notifying affected individuals as required by law.
  • Availability. We work to keep the Services available around the clock and schedule maintenance for low-use hours when we can, but we don't offer a service-level guarantee unless one is included in a signed order form.
  • Aggregated data. Rizora may use aggregated or de-identified data, which doesn't identify your Organization or any person, to operate and improve the Services.
  • Your name and logo. We won't name your Organization as a customer or use its logo in marketing without your written permission.
  • Infringement claims. For paid subscriptions, if a third party claims that your authorized use of the Services infringes its U.S. intellectual property rights, Rizora will defend that claim and pay resulting damages finally awarded, provided you notify us promptly and let us control the defense. We may instead modify the Services, obtain a license, or end the subscription and refund prepaid fees for the unused term. This doesn't cover claims caused by your content or by misuse of the Services.
  • Security. Keep your email account secure, since it controls your Rizora sign-in. Report suspected unauthorized access or misuse to security@rizora.io right away.
  • Indemnity. You agree to indemnify Rizora against third-party claims arising from your (or your staff's) misuse of athlete information, violation of these terms, violation of athletic governing-body rules, or conduct toward athletes. Public institutions indemnify only to the extent their governing law allows.
  • Liability. The disclaimers and limits on liability in our Terms of Service apply. For paid college subscriptions, each party's total liability is limited to the fees paid or payable in the 12 months before the claim, except for breaches of confidentiality or data-use restrictions, indemnity obligations, or amounts that can't be limited by law.
  • Suspension and termination. We may suspend or revoke an Organization's or Professional's access, or an individual staff member's access, to protect athletes or enforce these terms. When an Organization account ends, we delete its Program Content as described in our Data Retention Policy. Athletes keep their own information.
  • Public institutions. If you are a public school or university and a provision here conflicts with laws that bind you (such as governing-law, indemnity, or public-records laws), that provision applies only to the extent those laws allow. Contact legal@rizora.io for an addendum.
