Billing and Refund Policy

Rizora.io LLC

This policy explains how payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds work on Rizora. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. The basics

• Payments are processed by Stripe. Charges appear on your statement as RIZORA. Rizora never sees or stores your full card number.
• Parents and guardians pay for minors. Every purchase for an athlete who is a minor must be approved and paid for by their parent or guardian.
• Paying never changes results. No purchase affects any score, evaluation, match, or search ranking.
• Prices are shown in U.S. dollars at checkout. If tax applies, we'll show it before you pay.
• Manage billing anytime from your account's billing settings, which open Stripe's secure billing portal. There you can update your payment method, view receipts, and cancel.

2. What you can buy

The Develop free plan and high school and youth program accounts are free. Yearly Develop plans cost the same as 10 months. Current prices and plan details are always shown before you pay, and some products may not be available at launch.

High school recruit profiles are purchased on rizora.io. In the mobile app, you'll be directed to manage them on the web.

3. Subscriptions and renewals

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel.
• For yearly subscriptions, we send renewal reminders 30 days and 7 days before each renewal. For a minor athlete, reminders go to the parent or guardian.
• If a price is going to change, we'll tell you before it affects your renewal, and you can cancel before then.
• If a renewal payment fails, we'll let you know and retry. If it still can't be collected, the subscription ends and paid features stop.

4. Cancelling

• Cancel anytime in billing settings. There's no contract and no cancellation fee.
• When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and then it doesn't renew.
• Downgrading a Develop plan takes effect at the end of the current period. Upgrading takes effect right away, and you're charged the difference for the rest of the period.

5. Refunds

High school recruit profile. Full refund if you ask within 7 days of each purchase or yearly renewal charge. After that window, you can cancel at any time and you won't be charged again, but we don't refund the rest of the year. (Renewals are preceded by 30- and 7-day reminders.)

Develop plans. Full refund if you ask within 7 days of your first paid period. Renewals and later periods aren't refundable, but you can cancel at any time.

Anonymized highlight clip ($500).

1. After you pay and upload, our team processes the clip and a person reviews it. We aim to complete review within 48 business hours.
2. If the clip fails review, we'll reprocess it once at no charge.
3. You get a full refund if we can't anonymize the clip after that, or if you reject the result before it's released.
4. Once you approve a clip and it's released to programs, the purchase is complete and isn't refundable.

Other cases. If we discontinue a paid service you've prepaid for, or a billing error is our fault, we'll refund the affected amount. We may also refund in other situations at our discretion. Where the law gives you a broader right to a refund, the law applies.

How to request a refund. Email team@rizora.io from your account email with the purchase date and product, or use billing settings where available. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.

6. College program subscriptions

College program subscriptions are bought by the program's athletic director or another authorized official, are invoiced yearly, and are paid by ACH or another method we agree on. Pricing starts at $5,000 per year for one sport and one gender, plus $1,500 for each additional sport and gender. Invoices are due within the period stated on the invoice. College program subscriptions are also governed by our Organization and Professional Terms and any order form we sign with the program.

Rizora's college launch on November 1, 2026 is an invite-only pilot, free for participating programs through the January portal window. We'll give pilot programs notice before any paid subscription begins.

7. Disputes and chargebacks

Please contact us at team@rizora.io before disputing a charge with your bank; we can usually resolve billing problems quickly. If a payment is disputed, we may pause the related feature while the dispute is open. For an anonymized clip, a dispute pauses release of the clip.

8. Purchases through app stores

If we later offer purchases inside the iOS or Android app, those purchases are billed by Apple or Google under their terms, and refunds for them are handled by Apple or Google.
