Cookie Policy

Rizora.io LLC
This policy explains how Rizora uses cookies and similar technologies on rizora.io and in our mobile apps. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include browser storage (local storage, session storage, and IndexedDB) and, in our mobile apps, secure on-device storage and push-notification tokens. In this policy we call them all "cookies."
2. Our approach
- We use cookies to sign you in, keep you signed in securely, remember your settings, and protect the Services.
- We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking, and we don't let advertisers place cookies through Rizora.
- We don't sell information collected through cookies.
- We honor Global Privacy Control signals. Because we don't track you across sites, our practices are the same whether or not your browser sends "Do Not Track."
3. Cookies we use
| Category | What it does | Examples | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Signs you in and keeps your session secure, remembers which workspace you're in, protects against fraud and abuse | Sign-in session tokens stored by our authentication provider (Supabase); security and load-balancing cookies from our hosting and network providers (Vercel, Cloudflare) | Session tokens refresh while you use Rizora and end when you sign out; others last up to 12 months |
| Preferences | Remembers choices such as light or dark mode, reduced-motion preference, a tab you last viewed, or an unsent draft | Rizora preference keys in browser storage | Until you clear them or sign out |
| Payments | When you check out or manage billing, Stripe sets cookies on its own pages to process payments and prevent fraud | Stripe cookies on checkout.stripe.com and billing.stripe.com | Set by Stripe; see Stripe's cookie policy |
| Performance | Helps us find errors and measure how fast pages load, in aggregate | Error and performance monitoring (if enabled) | Up to 12 months |
Strictly necessary cookies are required for Rizora to work, so they can't be turned off in the Services. Because we don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, we don't show a cookie consent banner in the United States.
4. Mobile apps
Our apps store your sign-in session in secure storage on your device and, if you allow notifications, a push-notification token that lets us send you alerts. You can turn off notifications in your device settings or in Rizora's notification settings. Signing out removes the session from your device.
5. Email
Our emails do not contain tracking pixels for marketing. Sign-in codes and account emails may include links that take you directly into the app.
6. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies or browser storage, you won't be able to sign in. Clearing your browser storage will sign you out and reset your preferences.
7. Changes
We'll update this policy if we change how we use cookies and post the new version here with an updated date.
