Accessibility Statement

Rizora.io LLC

Rizora is built for every athlete, parent, coach, and trainer, including people who use assistive technology. We want everyone to be able to build a development record, run a team, and get recruited on Rizora.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA across rizora.io and our iOS and Android apps. We have not yet completed an independent accessibility audit, and we plan to do one after our launch design rollout.

What we do today

• Keyboard access. Every page on rizora.io can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on links, buttons, and form fields. We don't override standard keyboard shortcuts.
• Screen readers. We use semantic HTML, labeled controls, and text alternatives for meaningful images, and we test key flows with VoiceOver and TalkBack.
• Color and contrast. Our brand colors are tested for text contrast, and color is never the only way information is shown. For example, Develop and Recruit features use both color and labels.
• Reduced motion. Our marketing site uses scrolling animation, which is turned off when your device is set to reduce motion. Forms and long-form content never move.
• Responsive layouts. Pages work on phones, tablets, and desktops and support browser zoom up to 200% without losing content.
• Text size. The mobile apps respect your device's text-size settings.
• Plain language. We write instructions, consent screens, and policies to be readable by teens and families.
• Passwordless sign-in. You sign in with a one-time code instead of a password, and codes can be pasted.

Known limitations

We're still working on:

• Playbook diagrams and the play editor, which are visual by nature. We're adding text descriptions of plays and keyboard editing.
• Video clips, which don't yet have captions. Many highlight clips have no meaningful audio, and anonymized clips have audio removed.
• Charts of measurables and progress, which need full text alternatives.
